THE PROCEDURE
Mirconeedling is a minimally invasive treatment, the micro-needles on the device create micro punctures this is to stimulate and encourage the production of collagen and elastin. Microchannels are also left on the dermis from the microneedling, this helps the solution to better penetrate the skin deeply, but damaging the skin and it stimulates the healing process in the skin which encourages collagen and elastin production

Visible results can be noticed after just 6-8 days following a procedure, and you will see further improvement over time.
We usually recommend a course of sessions depending on what skin condition you want to improve. Most of our sessions are every 4-6 weeks, and top up treatments are every 6 months on average to ensure the best and maximum results. The results can last between 3-6 months depending on the skin concern we are targeting and how many sessions you have completed.

Overview​
​
PRP injections are prepared by taking anywhere from one to a few tubes of your own blood. It is then run in a centrifuge machine to separates the blood into its various components: red and white blood cells, plasma, platelets. The platelets are collected and concentrated to anywhere from 2 to 8 times their normal number. The platelets are then mixed into a blood plasma liquid base and injected directly into the area of concern such as face, scar tissue, hair. Plasma contains many factors essential for cell survival including nutrients, vitamins, hormones, electrolytes, growth factors, and proteins.
The plasma can be injected or microneedled into the skin. For the face, using plasma by microneedling or injections instantly improves the appearance of uneven skin tone, acne scars, stretch marks, fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, sun damage and pigmentation. And on top of promoting healing, it increases natural collagen production giving your skin a fresh, rejuvenated, youthful glow.

All treatments require a consultation to assess if you are suitable. We do not treat those pregnant or breastfeeding.
It is suitable for all skin types and ages. Perfect for acne-prone skin, problems with scaring and sun damage. Microneedling is a less invasive alternative to laser treatments meaning it is great for sensitive skin.
As it is a very natural treatment using your own blood, complications are very minimal. Swelling, bruising are very minimal and infection is very rare.

How do I prepare for the PRP treatment?

Avoid IPL/Laser procedures, unprotected sun exposure, or sunburn for at least 2 weeks prior to your procedure. No waxing, depilatory creams, or electrolysis to the area being treated for 5-7 days prior.

How often do I need the PRP treatment?
​
Please note that 3 to 6 sessions (depending on your situation) per year are recommended for obtaining optimal visible results. The gap between each treatment is about 4-6 weeks is recommended.

What results can I expect?

Hair regrowth starts approximately 2 months after PRP treatment and continues for up to 10 months. Results showed that a significant increase in the rate of hair growth was observed between the 3rd and 6th months. Hair density followed a rising trend with a remarkable results, peaking at 3 month mark.

What aftercare is needed?

It is recommended not to touch or wash or apply anything on the areas for 12 hours to prevent infection.day and continue to apply a daily SPF.
