THE PROCEDURE
Mirconeedling is a minimally invasive treatment, the micro-needles on the device create micro punctures this is to stimulate and encourage the production of collagen and elastin. Microchannels are also left on the dermis from the microneedling, this helps the solution to better penetrate the skin deeply, but damaging the skin and it stimulates the healing process in the skin which encourages collagen and elastin production

A chemical peel can improve skin problems such as acne, sunspots as well as improve skin texture and tone, leaving skin looking radiant and refreshed. Peels of multiple strengths and depths are available; we are able to recommend the best peel for you during your consultation.

Superficial skin peels improve skin imperfections with little or no downtime often referred to as the Red Carpet Peel. It is a light, easy peel that can be done in your lunch hour. Popular with celebrities and brides as there is no peeling or redness after, just glowing healthy skin.
We design our bespoke superficial peels to have minimum downtime but maximum effect, meaning they are perfect before special events for a quick confidence boost.
THE RESULTS
Visible results can be noticed immediately and improved over 3-4 weeks. We usually recommend a course of sessions depending on what skin condition you want to improve. Most of our sessions are every 4-6 weeks, and top up treatments are every 6 months on average to ensure the best and maximum results. The results can last between 3-6 months depending on the skin concern we are targeting and how many sessions you have completed.

Is this treatment suitable for me?

Chemical peels can be carried out on all skin types. We can vary the intensity of the peels depending on whether it is your first peel, skin concerns, skin sensitivity, Fitzpatrick type etc. It is only suitable for patients who are above the age of 18 and those who are not pregnant or breastfeeding. it is perfect for anyone who wants to improve dull, tired looking skin for a more fresh and youthful look.

How do I prepare for the Chemical Peel treatment?

Do not exfoliate, wax or shave or stay in the sun for extended periods of time before your appointment. Do not wear make-up for the appointment.

How often do I need the Chemical Peel treatment?
​
The number of facial Chemical Peel sessions you will require depends on the skin condition that you want treating. The most commonly used peel is a light peel, which can be done every four to six weeks as needed. Medium peels, on the other hand, exfoliate deeper layers of the skin and should be spaced about three to four months apart.

What results can I expect?

Chemical Peels can instantly improve dull, tired looking skin and superficial wrinkles but can also help to improve sluggish blood circulation, aiding the body to flush out ageing toxins. A light chemical peel improves skin texture and tone and lessens the appearance of fine wrinkles. The results are subtle but increase with repeated treatments. If you have a medium chemical peel, treated skin will be noticeably smoother.

What aftercare is needed?

Avoid strenuous exercise for 48-72 hours. Avoid sun (and sunbeds), Saunas, Steam rooms or heat for 72 hours. Avoid consuming excess amounts of alcohol or salts to avoid excess swelling. If you have swelling you may apply a cool compress for 15 minutes each hour.
